fixing for the users

50 users with no log in

Since there are 50 users with no log in people could easily delete ouhers peoples files and there hard work for example  if i had done work for my boss and some other user deleted my work for a joke i wont be able to get it back so you would need to add a username system and a password system for more security




unrestricted internet access

For the unrestricted internet access this is realy bad because the users can get on any website for example facebook at anytime and the user would be distracted and not do any work the way to fix this adding in a proxy sever or even block just block the certent websites you dont the users to get on them websites.

staff are allowed to install and remove software when ever they want

If staff are allowed to install and remove software when ever they want this is very bad because they could easly install software with viruses or even remove software that some users are using for example if they deleted Microsoft Word and if they didnt install a word processer software they couldn't finish there document

data is backed up once a mounth

data is backed up once a mounth this is bad if the network goes down because it loads every thing for the end of the mounth before they should make sure they change this to once every day or even every 6 hours

data types are kept secure in a locked plastic box on top of the server

data types are kept secure in a locked plastic box on top of the server there are many bad things about this for the first thing if its in a plastic box on top of there server it will melt because the server is always on the second bad point if some person robbed  the place were the servers and the data tapes are then you coudnt get them back a way to fix this problem is changing the box to a strong type of metal that cant be easily destroyed and move the data tapes to a secret location

email is available to all

email is available to all this is bad because if people can go in to you emails and take peoples bank details and they could buy anything they want for example buy movies games at the least they could pretty much buy anything they want or they could look through your personal emails for example to your family or even your wife/husband. they should get everyone separate emails addresses for all the users

ip address log is not kept of sites visited

since the ip address log is not kept of sites visited the users can get distracted and not do any work the way to fix this is adding in a program that you can look at what the user point of viewand you can talk to that user or even block him/her from the internet

no firewall

having no firewall is one of the worst things you can do if you dont have a firewall you will get a lot of viruses because if a user downloads or even go to a certain website you could easily get a virus. the way to stop this would be getting a antiviruss programs for there company.

downloads are not monitored

downloads are not monitored is a bad thing because the users can easily download anything they want for example games or a program that will mess up every user in the company.Tthe best way to stop this would be getting a program that will let people download it but the program will look through that download.

entrance doors are not protected by keypad

since there is no keypad  on the entrance doors anyone can get into the building and take anything they want the way to fix this is getting a special card that you have use to unlock the door so youcan open it and have a security guard
